About us

We are a Building Supply Store located in the Kentville Industrial Park. We serve the surrounding community with their building supply needs.

Responsibilities:


  • Daily sales transactions for customers.
  • Basic knowledge in standard building practices.
  • Will be required to special order product for customers as requested.
  • Assist customers with projects.
  • Handle cash, credit, and check transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Process returns and exchanges of merchandise.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Keep track of inventory levels.
  • Answer phone calls and provide information about products.

Salary:
$16.00-$18.00 per hour


Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Kentville, NS B4N 3V7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

- sales: 1 year (preferred)

  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Serving It Right (preferred)
