Service Technician Job Description

• Likes working with diesel engines, electrical and hydraulics
• Experience repairing and diagnosing equipment thoroughly and in a timely manner
• Previous tractor dealership experience is an asset but not a requirement
• Completes and processes all paperwork for each assignment in a timely, consistent and accurate manner.
• Follow regulatory compliance protocols, policies, and requirements
• Participate in required training and also take personal initiative to stay uptodate on relevant service knowledge, bulletins, and other changes regarding new and existing products.
• Appropriately assist other technicians when required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Provide and maintain the hand tools required to efficiently complete assigned work.
• Provide input to the sales and parts team relating to product information, quality, warranty and other unit performance information.
• Operate, maintain and account for company equipment and vehicles.
• Maintain and service equipment and tools in the shop
• Develop relationships with customers

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$35.00-$40.00 per hour

- automotive technician: 1 year (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

• Driver's License (preferred)
• Journeyman Ticket (preferred)
