We make use of leading-edge computer, additive manufacturing and production technologies to produce customized clear orthodontic aligners for the international market.

The company was founded 7 years ago and is certified by the FDA and Health Canada.


Position
Responsible for preprocessing, operation, and maintenance of the company's group of 3D SLA, polyjet, and DLP printers.

Planning, coordination, control, and continuous improvement of processes and methods to control the quality of 3D printed models produced by SureCure Aligners.

This involves working closely with supervisors, production, information technology, and other supporting areas/development teams, to ensure active participation in continuous quality improvement activities.


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Prepare files for 3D printing according to production schedule.
  • Prepare, monitor, and remove builds from various additive manufacturing machines.
  • Perform postprocessing work on 3D printed parts produced.
  • Record and maintain build data, test records, part tracking information (travelers/database).
  • Test and record properties of parts using lab test equipment per documented processes.
  • Monitor production schedule.
  • Perform regular additive machine maintenance activities.
  • Maintain machine build schedule, prioritize job orders and provide projected completion date of projects.

Requirements:


  • Engineering Degree or diploma from an accredited university or relevant experience.
  • Experience operating machinist equipment including various 3D printers, 3 and 5 axis CNC machines.
  • Experience working with STL files.
  • Ability to interpret 2D/3D drawings.
  • Ability to handle the fastpaced and dynamic demands of a production environment where priorities may change quickly.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently and offer insights and suggestions to improve processes.
  • Ability to learn and become proficient in the use of new and existing technologies.
  • Ability to organize time and be able to perform multiple routine and nonroutine tasks.

Preferred Skills:


  • Experience or working knowledge of additive manufacturing.
  • 1 year experience in high tech manufacturing.
  • Able to open, view, and manipulate 3D CAD models.
