    This role is responsible for administration of Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance Plan processes for both our French and English clients across the country. Your duties will include receiving, reviewing and processing firm applications, updates, changes, and terminations, as well as employee applications, salary changes, and change requests.

    As the successful candidate, you will contact plan administrators and/or advisor offices to collect outstanding information, answer the advisor phone line, promptly respond to inquiries in a professional manner, and send timely communications. You will be responsible for running arrears reports, communicating with clients about outstanding balance, suspending and terminating policies, receiving Life and AD&D conversion requests, sending them to the applicable insurer, receiving quotes and forwarding them onto the clients.

    Note: Hybrid working model based out of our Winnipeg, MB office, with three days in-office per week.

    Responsibilities

    • Administer Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance Plan processes for French and English clients across the country, including reviewing and processing firm applications, updates, changes, and terminations, as well as employee applications, salary changes, and change requests.
    • Contact plan administrators and advisor offices to collect outstanding information; answer advisor phone line and respond to inquiries professionally; send timely communications.
    • Run arrears reports; communicate with clients about outstanding balances; suspend and terminate policies as required.
    • Process Life and AD&D conversion requests, transmit to the applicable insurer, receive quotes, and forward them to clients.

    Qualifications

    • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, ability to effectively convey information and build relationships, with fluency in both English and French
    • Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to multitask
    • Experience working with group insurance
    • Exceptional customer service skills and strong active listening skills
    • High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
    • Ability to effectively manage competing priorities
    • Strong team player with ability to work independently
