Description

The Human Resources Generalist role at North Medical Spa is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned human resources professional who will provide expertise and support for the Spa teams.

The HR Generalist will support functional and administrative areas of HR including recruiting, onboarding, training and development planning, as well as provide support throughout the business as it relates to HR and overall business operations.

This role is a fit for someone who is able to support a scaling company with a people first approach.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as a brand ambassador for North Medical Spa in all interactions
  • Support alignment and achievement of the company's vision
  • Lead Recruitment process by posting, screening, evaluating, and providing communication/ updates to hiring managers/ senior management
  • Conduct employee onboarding/orientation and help organize training and development initiatives
  • Support in the build out and growth of training centre (Oakville)
  • Provide support to employees in various Talentrelated topics and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
  • Maintain uptodate, accurate and confidential employee files and records on our HRIS systems
  • Act as Benefits Administrator, working with provider to enroll new employees and support in resolving inquiries
  • Help design and promote initiatives and programs to create an efficient and energized workplace, improving overall employee experience
  • Other duties as assigned

PROFILE

  • Demonstrated 3+ years of experience in Human Resources
  • Medical Spa industry experience an asset
  • Knowledge of provincial employment laws and occupational health & safety act
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English
  • Able to work collaboratively and build productive relationships across levels and functions
  • Initiative driven, proactive, highly organized, and able to shift priorities, multitask, and handle fast working environment
  • Focused on providing exceptional support to our employees with a positive attitude
  • Ability to handle HRrelated matters with a high level of discretion and confidentiality
  • Approximately 2432 hours per week (to start); office/ on location in Spas
- $26-$31 per hour (dependant on experience)

  • Valid Driver's License/ car an asset (ability to travel between locations)
