Our general operations, based in Toronto, handle all maintenance, repairs and service calls for corporate and independent retailers across the country


Our working environment
The ideal person for this position is comfortable working mainly in a team and outdoors.

  • Work on the road
  • Frequent travel.
  • Starts very early in the morning
  • At 5:30 a.m. in the field.

Roles and responsibilities
The selected person must have experience in manual work requiring physical effort.

  • Responsible for keeping the service truck up to date with the equipment and parts needed to complete the work.
  • Assist the regional operations manager in the organization of service calls.
  • Transport team members from their residence to the field at the start of the day and from the field to their residence at the end of the day
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools to maintain carts, ladders, and material handling equipment.
  • Update parts inventory and work orders using the provided smartphone.
  • Review the day's work with store managers.
  • Execute the weekly schedule according to the climatic conditions and the performance of the maintenance team.

Required Skills:


  • Basic welding training provided by the company.
  • Good organization to manage a large volume of repetitive work.
  • Quick learning skills
  • Problem solving and decisionmaking skills.

Experience

  • Maintenance, Laborer, Assembly, Delivery, Helper, Landscaper

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Canadian citizenship and social insurance number
  • Criminal record investigation upon hiring
  • Valid driver's license without restrictions
  • English language spoken and written required.
  • Be at least 21 years old (to be insured)

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$17.00-$22.00 per hour
