About the Opportunity:


The NSH Pharmacy Residency Program Coordinator in collaboration with the NSH Pharmacy Residency Program Director will ensure the Program meets or exceeds Canadian Hospital Pharmacy Residency Board (CPRB) Accreditation standards and liaise with the CHPRB on matters related to Accreditation.

The Pharmacy Residency Program Coordinator is expected to demonstrate the competencies as identified by the current CHPRB Accreditation Standards.


The NSH Pharmacy Residency Program Coordinator will serve as an active member on a number of committees including the Dalhousie University Pharmacy Residency Committee and NSH CZ Pharmacy Residency Committee.


About You:

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Post-baccalaureate traditional Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.
D.), OR MSc., Ph.
D.

  • Successful completion of an Accredited Canadian Pharmacy Residency required
  • Registered or eligible for licensure with the Nova Scotia College of Pharmacists and licensed to practice in Nova Scotia
  • Minimum of two years (five years preferred) experience in pharmacy practice is required
  • Previous administrative experience in pharmacy an asset
  • Active membership in the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists
  • Experience with research and program development
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Communication, facilitation and change management skills
  • Ability to work independently to meet timelines and priorities with little or no supervision
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and mentoring skills
  • Demonstrates initiative and selfmotivation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to high quality work
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred

Hours:


  • Permanent Part-Time / 50% FTE / 37.5 Hours Biweekly

Compensation and Incentives:

$ $65.64 Hourly
