Delivery Driver/Counter Inside Sales

Diamond HVAC Distributors Inc is an industry leading, London Ontario based distributor of Residential & light commercial HVAC Products with over 45 years of experience. We are looking to add to our team to better serve our customers across Southern Ontario. As part of the Diamond HVAC team, we encourage and support development of skills to further advancement in our company.

This position involves delivering products to our customer across Southwestern Ontario. Order processing and some light warehouse duties.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Driver of van or truck to customer locations
• Process warranties and returns
• Loading and unloading trucks accurately completing paperwork and verifying counts
• Locate and /or acquire items as required form stock, other locations or suppliers
• Put away stock, cycle counting and assist with shipping and receiving.
• Treat customers and coworkers with respect and dignity
• Experience working in a busy warehouse with competing demands
• Inform purchasing when stock levels are low
• A physically demanding job requiring considerable sitting, lifting, carrying, bending, reaching and walking for considerable period of the day

Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

• G license in good standing and must provide a clean driver abstract
• Minimum 3 years driving small box truck & van with proven driving record
• Knowledge in HVAC materials an asset
• Basic computer skills (Windows/Chrome, and outlook)
• Handling of stock items that may include lifting or carrying items up to 60lbs
• CSA approved safety boots required for first day. (Yearly safety shoe allowance)
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment with tight deadlines and strong attention to detail
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills
• Must be versatile and be able and willing to preform unrelated tasks as assigned

• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• London, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- delivery driving: 3 years (preferred)
