The Pie Plate is a successful, busy, growing bakery/cafe located in the heart of the beautiful Niagara region. We make all our items from scratch, with love, and we are looking for an experienced, motivated, passionate baker to join our team

Responsibilities include:
- mixing, shaping and baking a variety of pies, breads, cookies, cakes, quick breads, laminated products and other pastries, as per recipe directions
- keeping the bakery neat and organized, and cleaning down at the end of shift
- reporting to the Head Bakers and working as a team with other staff
- some receiving of deliveries and tracking of inventory
- have at least 3 years of bakery experience and/or formal education in culinary/pastry environments. Experience and confidence in handling breads and laminated doughs is an asset
- excel at independent work, as well as working as part of a team
- show excellent attention to detail, and work in a neat, sanitary and organized fashion
- thrive in a busy, fast-paced working environment
- have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
