Description

We are looking for casual & full-time Server's (Food Service Support) to work at Lakeside Manor, our independent senior living community in Salmon Arm, BC.

Our Servers provide support in serving meals (lunch & dinner) to our Residents in the dining room as well as providing general dining room cleanup.

Hourly Rate:

$17.50 per hour

Benefits:
Available after 3 months for part-time and full-time staff, includes health & wellness and pharmacy coverage

Position Overview:

Following food safe practices and company policies and procedures, assists with the preparation, presentation, delivery and service of meals. Respects the choices and preferences of Residents in meal service. Conducts clean up after meals;
Delivers exemplary housekeeping and laundry services within Resident suites, amenity spaces and common/administrative areas. Organizes cleaning schedules around Residents needs and requests.
Stocks the common area kitchen ensuring proper inventory rotation methods are utilized for all perishable products;
Collects and distributes bedding and towels to service areas in accordance with predetermined top up levels. Washes, dries and folds flat linens and towels;

To Be Considered:

Previous hospitality experience is an asset;
Ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Comfortable working alone or in a team environment;
Able to plan, organize and deliver services with mínimal supervision;
Current WHMIS Certification is an asset; and
Current Food Safe certificate Level
Basic (or equivalent) is an asset.
