Accounts Payable and Receivable Clerk - Toronto, Canada - WINZEN

Position available immediately.

Full time position at head office of residential construction/property management company located in South Etobicoke (Near Sherway Gardens) We are a family operated residential developer, house construction and property management company.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Record daily AP/ AR transactions, post and process journal entries, ensuring all business transactions are recorded accurately and appropriately

Investigate aged receivables and resolve them in a timely manner

Perform bank, credit card, AP (vendor) reconciliations (research and resolve discrepancies, and continuous monitoring of accounts to ensure being up to date)


Qualifications:
Accounting work experience minimum 3 years

Sound understanding of accounting categories to appropriately and accurately track transactions

Previous experience with Yardi is an asset

Experience in both payables and receivables

Strong understanding of accounting principles

Strong interpersonal skills

Effective time management skills

Self-motivated and operates with a sense of urgency

Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing)
