Reporting to:
General Manager


Position:
Event Coordinator


Responsibilities:


  • Sales calls and meeting with clients
  • Creating client proposals and booking events
  • Planning and organizing events
  • Assist with menu planning, booking event, etc.
  • Planning and coordinating with suppliers
  • Assist in resolving any issues or concerns that event guests or clients may have
  • Assess an event's overall success postevent; prepare and submit findings

Knowledge & Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an event coordinator or similar experience in the hospitality/hotel industry
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal/written)
  • Fantastic customer service skills
  • Knowledge of food and beverage
  • Ability to work independently
  • Solid organization, multitasking and time management skills
  • Selfstarter with an attention to detail
  • Strong sales and sales methods
  • Competence with MS Word and Excel

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Work Location:
