Metal & Wood Products, a leading custom metal fabrication shop specializing in high-end architectural details, is seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Machine Operator to join our dynamic team.

This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and contribute to exciting projects in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:


  • Operate and maintain waterjet cutting and CNC milling machines to ensure accurate and efficient material processing.
  • Load and unload raw materials into CNC machines.
  • Read and interpret fabrication drawings to prepare and vet programs for material processing.
  • Monitor CNC machines during operation to ensure quality and troubleshoot any issues.
  • Collaborate with the design team to optimize processing time and increase material yield.
  • Work closely with the fabrication team to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Organize raw material inventory and postprocessed materials.

Qualifications:


  • Secondary education (high school diploma or equivalent)
  • 1 to 2 years of CNC machining experience (minimum)
  • Proficiency in English (both speaking and writing)
  • Ability to read and interpret detailed drawings accurately.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Forklift experience (mandatory)
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fastpaced environment.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail.

$26.00-$34.00 per hour
