Knowledge and Skills

  • Knowledge of carpentry and construction works
  • Knowledge of safe operation of basic hand and power tools
  • Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures
  • Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of buildings
  • Responsible for completing the appropriate tasks given to by onsite lead team
  • Maintain regular communication with foreman, site supervisor, site coordinators, project coordinators and project managers
  • Strong verbal and communication skills

Requirements:


  • High School, GED, or equivalent and/or completion of specialized technical and safety courses.
  • 1+ years' experience working in residential/commercial construction
  • Great attitude and a team player
  • Ability to understand and follow directions
  • Able to complete task(s) in a timely manner unsupervised
  • Keen, curious, eager and willing to learn
  • Motivation and ability to work under given timelines
