Pacific Western Transportation is seeking a dedicated and skilled part-time Driver Examiner to join our team at its Centre for Innovation and Excellence in Edmonton.

As a Driver Examiner, your primary responsibility will be conducting Class 2 road tests. This role will offer 10-20 hours per week, with the potential of turning into a full-time role.

Knowledge and Skills Required

Must have held a Class 1 or 2 license for a minimum of 5 years
Possess or willing to obtain a current driver examiner license
Proficient in computer and tablet usage for effective testing procedures
Thorough knowledge of the Highway Traffic Act and emergency procedures
Maintain a clear 5year commercial driver's abstract and criminal record
Demonstrate a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Conduct Class 2 road tests
Adhere to the programs, policies, and guidelines of Pacific Western Transportation Safety and Training Department
Maintain confidentiality in all matters related to testing and evaluation
Work collaboratively within a team environment
Uphold a high level of professionalism and integrity in all interactions
