Summary

This is a regular part-time Support position (up to 24 hours per week).

Part-time Support Staff employees, as defined by the part-time Support Staff Collective Agreement, will be given first consideration
Duties:
Reporting to the Director, International Recruitment and Market Development, this position will work closely with all the teams in the International Centre
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and execute activities outlined in the digital marketing strategy.
Social Media:
- Create and publish social media posts and track metrics.
- Engage prospective and current international students through a variety of approaches.
- Upload leads from all global recruiters to the Lead Management System, Mautic.
- Respond to questions received from Digital Ambassadors on the WhatsApp platform.
Other duties that the position may be required to perform in collaboration with other team members include:
- Develop and update marketing materials (print, digital, marketing swags, and branded promotional merchandise).
- Ship and track marketing materials to local and international destinations.
- Maintain and update the annual communications cycle/plan.
- Assist at peak times with transition and settlement activities (intake triage, orientation, campus tours).
- Other duties as assigned by a manager.
Qualifications
- Postsecondary 2year diploma in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or a related discipline
- Minimum 1year experience in a fastpaced, multicultural work environment
- An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered; preference will be given to applicants meeting the education requirements
- Design skills an asset
- Demonstrated proficiency (written, verbal) in English
