Lead Business Process Analyst, Richmond Hill, ON
(Hybrid: Tues., Wed., and Thurs.)

The Opportunity
The Engineering PMO supports over 8,000 engineers at Opentext located across the globe. We are looking for a self-motivated lead analyst to support cross-functional projects and analysis. This role will report directly to the VP, PMO (Project Management Office).

Working closely with our Business Unit leaders, Cloud Operations leaders, FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis), HR, and IT partners, you will contribute to our team by:


  • Providing support to functional, BU (Business Unit) and operational leaders in preparing operational analysis
  • Supporting Corporate engineering reporting
  • Supporting multiple ongoing initiatives/projects and assisting with integration and acquisition activities
  • Leading the business analysis of adhoc requests

You are great at:


  • Providing process analysis
  • Investigating operations or process problems, providing summaries, options and recommendations.
  • Following through on operational issues
  • Documenting, standardizing, streamlining, and communicating processes
  • Assist management to develop and deliver reports as needed
  • Working with large quantities of data, manipulating the data, and turning into an insightful presentation
  • Interviewing stake holders and determining how existing processes can either be streamlined or consolidated
  • Working under everchanging demands and filling in the white space between departments and functions
  • Organizing, keeping track of programs, and documentation.

What it takes:


  • Bachelor's degree in programming or Business Administration or other relevant business degrees
  • Prior experience in a Development or IT PMO type role is ideal
  • Programming experience is a definite asset
  • Project management experience is desirable
  • Process Improvement experience is a plus
  • Ability to prepare business and operational reviews
  • Exceptional written, presentation, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Exceptional proficiency in MS Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and Word.
