CPA:
Bevan Ave, Sidney, BC

  • Hours:_
  • Starting at 2 hours per day, 5 days per week
  • Increase to 46 hours per day during the last 3 weeks of tax season
  • May need to work Saturdays in the last 2 weeks of April
  • Your role will entail the following duties:_
  • Scan physical paperwork/hardcopies to an electronic format and upload scanned documents to appropriate folders and databases
  • Collate documents and archive files, including assembly of tax returns
  • Provide backup to the receptionist, as needed
  • Answer phone calls, as needed
  • Call clients regarding the completion of their tax returns and other related matters
  • Manage workload and deadlines independently
  • Skills and experience:_
  • Prior experience as an administrative assistant or receptionist in a professional setting (preferred)
  • Competent with computers, scanning and using Outlook, Word and Excel (will receive further training on accounting softwares, as necessary)
  • Detailoriented
  • Fast learner and adaptable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Can work independently and under deadlines

- $20/per hour
