- Starting at 2 hours per day, 5 days per week
- Increase to 46 hours per day during the last 3 weeks of tax season
- May need to work Saturdays in the last 2 weeks of April
- Your role will entail the following duties:_
- Scan physical paperwork/hardcopies to an electronic format and upload scanned documents to appropriate folders and databases
- Collate documents and archive files, including assembly of tax returns
- Provide backup to the receptionist, as needed
- Answer phone calls, as needed
- Call clients regarding the completion of their tax returns and other related matters
- Manage workload and deadlines independently
- Skills and experience:_
- Prior experience as an administrative assistant or receptionist in a professional setting (preferred)
- Competent with computers, scanning and using Outlook, Word and Excel (will receive further training on accounting softwares, as necessary)
- Detailoriented
- Fast learner and adaptable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
- Strong organizational skills
- Can work independently and under deadlines
