Dilawri Auto Group is currently seeking a high energy, experienced Tower Operator for our following dealership:

Bank Street Mazda Bank Street

The Tower Operator contributes to the operational effectiveness of the service department and to positive CSI results by maximizing shop productivity by ensuring all vehicles advance through the shop in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

Prioritize and dispatch work for the shop
Communication with sales and service team, use internal repair orders and predelivery inspections/checks to help reach production goals and complete internal work in a timely manner (for both new and used cars)
Maintain shop capacity, efficiency and productivity
Monitor the availability of technicians and inform the Shop Foremen, Service Advisors and Service Manager on absences of delays
Identify and communicate opportunities to enhance workshop productivity and efficiency to Service Management
Answer incoming calls regarding service inquiries and accurately schedule appointments, when necessary

Requirement/Qualifications:

Previous experience with scheduling in an automotive environment
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
Sound mechanical knowledge
Ability to prioritize work flow and set effective, efficient time schedules
Strong interpersonal, relationshipbuilding and communication skills
Previous experience as Shop Foreman or Assistant Service Manager as Asset
Strong Computer skill, must have Reynolds and Reynolds (ERA) experience or equivalent (ADP)
Strong Administrative skill
