Job summary

The General Manager Operations plans organizes directs integrates the County's Public Works Operations Division of the Planning Development & Public Works Department.

Qualifications

  • You have a 3 year diploma in Civil Engineering or related field,and on-the-job experience in a roads maintenance capacity.
  • You have obtained the Certified Road Supervisor - Senior designation from the Association of Ontario Roads Supervisors (AORS),or have a willingness to obtain once in therole.
  • You have a minimum of 7 years progressive experience preferably in a Municipal Public Works environment.Our ideal candidate would have gained experience workingin Road Maintenance / Fleet Managementandhasa working knowledge/understandingof Facilities Maintenanceand Waste Management activities.
