Job Description:
As the Payroll & Benefits System Administrator for the Finance Department, you will contribute to Laura's success by supporting the objective of providing an optimized experience for our employees.
How will you support the team?
- Configure, test and optimize the Dayforce system processes as they relate to an employee's payroll cycle.
- Get familiarized with the new functionalities available for the system's payroll module and analyze their relevance.
- Ensure the integrity of payroll system data and processes by creating audits, checkpoints and key performance indicators.
- Develop and retrieve reports according to the needs and requests of users and their access rights.
- Develop and ensure the availability of reference documents for users.
- Prepare presentations and training sessions to ensure user buyin to processes.
- Support users by answering questions and resolving technical issues with the Dayforce payroll module.
- Collaborate with other stakeholders in the implementation and improvement of the platform.
- Act as the technical expert (SME) for the Dayforce payroll module.
Qualifications:

- A combination of technical background and experience in payroll and technology management
- At least 3 years of experience in a user support role
- Excellent knowledge of Dayforce (Ceridian), specifically the payroll module
- Indepth knowledge of an employee's payroll cycle
- Experience in managing technology implementation projects will be considered an asset.
- Analytical, priority management and time management skills
- Excellent listening and communication skills to support users at all levels of the hierarchy
- Good presentation and training skills
- Bilingual (French and English) written and spoken
