ABOUT THE POSITION
This position is primarily responsible for supporting the operations and business activities of PTI Transformers Group of Companies by managing the execution and analysis of daily financial reporting, ensuring appropriate financial controls are in place and preparing periodic reporting of results and forecasts throughout the year as required.
ABOUT YOU
Education
Undergraduate program or equivalent in business, finance, or accounting.
- Able to communicate and problem solve with senior finance and management team on budget, corporate direction, priorities, financial information and statements, daytoday operations, and processes/procedures.
- Able to complete monthend and yearend duties
- Assist the Finance Manager with the daily supervision of department activities and team members; provide training, coaching, and mentoring where appropriate.
- Delegate, assign and monitor work of department employees; prioritize if required.
Experience
- Minimum 23 years of experience in a fullcycle accounting environment
- Experience in a supervisory role is an asset
- Experience in a finance role at a manufacturing environment is an asset
