  • Ensure employee care partner inquiries are accurately answered in a timely manner
  • Maintains the accuracy and up to date human resources records
  • Record entry of new hires and ongoing change requests into our payroll System (Ceridian Dayforce)
  • Execution of benefits enrollment
  • Facilitate RRSP changes through payroll system
  • Proactive work ethic, able to ask questions for continued growth
  • Provide guidance and support to our care partners in a timely manner
  • Provide reports by summarizing information, analyzing and able to pinpoint requirements needed
  • Assisting to coordinate, implement, and oversee successful recruitment and retention strategies
  • Providing services in a manner that demonstrates the principles of our Mission, Vision, and Values
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Knowledge of employment law, Alberta Employment standards and Human Rights legislation
  • Be the key SME for our service rewards program

Foundational knowledge and experience to grow from:

  • Two-year Post-Secondary Education and or a in the field of Human Resources
  • 2+ years of recent human resources coordinator or generalist experience
  • CPHR Designation an asset
  • Experience in an HR focused role (Generalist, coordinator, administrator, etc.)
  • Experience with ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems), BambooHR an asset
  • 2+ years of recent experience with Benefits
  • Must be a permanent resident in Edmonton and or surrounding area
