Job Description:

WHAT'S THE JOB?

The
Breakfast Cook is responsible for the preparation, cooking and serving of hot breakfast to the camp guests in a timely and efficient manner.

The position involves a remote work lifestyle in a camp setting with the following amenities:

All meals and accommodation provided free of charge while at site
Private room with cable TV
Access to Wi-FI
Linens and towels provided
Access to laundry facilities and detergents
Access to a gym

Key responsibilities include:

Preparing and cooking breakfast for guests at site (number of guests dependent on each site location)
Creating and following menus to ensure quality of food prepared and served
Ensuring consistent quality of standard in overall food preparation as per clients' requirements including consideration to special dietary constraints
Ensuring proper equipment operation, safety and sanitation in the kitchen
Complying with food safety regulations in accordance with Food Safety Act
Cleaning, washing, and sanitizing equipment and overall work areas

Qualifications:

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Proven experience preparing and cooking hot breakfast for a large number of guests (madetoorder eggs, omelet station, etc.)
Current Food Safe certification is an asset
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment with mínimal or no supervision
High standards in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen
Be able to handle the following physical demands:
Lift, carry, push or pull up to 50 lbs
Climb ladders or stairs
Stand, walk, squat, kneel or sit according to task for extended lengths of time
Perform repetitive hand work requiring full use of both hands
Perform work with arms at full length
Work with arms above shoulder height
