About the position

Main Duties

  • Ensure Metalumen's Quality Management System is maintained and continuously improved.
  • Ensure Metalumen's Quality Management System is prepared for implementation of ISO 9001regulatory and legal requirements as well as customer specific requirements.
  • Document control of ISO 9001 processes.
  • Business process documentation.
  • Coach the organization through the creation of new systems and process improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct and perform as the Internal Auditor.
  • Coordinate and conduct corrective action projects.
  • Manage the daily duties of the Quality Control Technician, including incoming inspections, first off inspections, inprocess inspections, and shipping inspections.
  • Responsible for accuracy and timely inspection of and calibration of monitoring and measuring devices.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:


  • Quality Certification and/or workrelated experience.
  • ISO 9001 Training
  • Lean, Six Sigma or Kaizen Training considered an asset.
  • 35 years working in a manufacturing environment
  • Minimum 1 year experience with a document control programme or process.
  • 12 years experience in process and system improvement initiatives Team Lead
  • 12 months handson involvement in the implementation and maintenance of a Quality Management System lead and completed at least 10 management system audits
  • Demonstrated experience using a Cost Benefit Analysis
  • Demonstrate willingness to learn
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates strong leadership and coaching skills
  • Strong follow up, organization and prioritization skills
