March provides engineering, procurement, project, and construction management services to a variety of resource-based industrial and commercial enterprises.In addition, March and its employees have developed specialized expertise in feasibility studies and asset integrity in the heavy industrial sector.
Position Overview
Primary Responsibilities
These duties include, but are not limited to:
- Monitor the financial performance of the company
- Compile and analyze financial reporting packages
- Prepare monthly accruals, journal entries, and financial statements
- Prepare quarterly forecasts and annual operating budgets
- Liaise with auditors, CRA and ISC
- Develop and manage financial controls in accordance with the company's procedures
- Communicate financial metrics to senior management
- Provide leadership and support to accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Accounting designation (CMA, CGA or CA), or an equivalent combination of related experience and education
- Minimum of 10 years accounting experience in a senior accounting or financial management role
- Experience with Sage300 (Accpac) would be an asset
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Impeccable analytical and organizational skills
- Selfmotivated and selfdirected
- Ability to work closely with a senior management team
Compensation:
Commensurate with education and experience.
