Position Summary

Duties
Responsibilities of the position include, but may not be limited to:

  • Assists in the modification and maintenance of electronic and paper data management systems.
  • Coordinates necessary data flow both internally, as well as externally with collaborators from other sites.
  • May participate in qualitative analyses of data collected from patients.
  • May assist in the interpretation of results and preparation of material for presentation, publication, and/or grants.
  • May maintain regulatory documents
  • May participate in department review of data collection strategies.
  • May liaise with sponsors for monitoring/audits
  • May perform computer statistical analyses.
  • May generate response curves, status reports, and other statistical reports, as required.
  • May interpret results and prepare material for presentation, publication, and/or grants.
  • May assist in the preparation of submissions to the Research Ethics Board.
  • May conduct literature searches.

Qualifications:


  • At minimum, a Bachelor's Degree in related field required;
  • A minimum of 1 year related experience;
  • Experience with patient recruitment and data collection; qualitative research experience including conducting interviews;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Office environment;
  • Detail oriented with excellent organization skills;
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize workload to meet deadlines;
  • Ability to work as part of an interprofessional team;
  • Comfortable with learning new systems quickly and efficiently;
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn;
  • Medical or scientific knowledge preferred.
