Position Summary

Duties
Responsibilities of the position include, but may not be limited to:

Assists in the modification and maintenance of electronic and paper data management systems.
Coordinates necessary data flow both internally, as well as externally with collaborators from other sites.
May participate in qualitative analyses of data collected from patients.
May assist in the interpretation of results and preparation of material for presentation, publication, and/or grants.
May maintain regulatory documents
May participate in department review of data collection strategies.
May liaise with sponsors for monitoring/audits
May perform computer statistical analyses.
May generate response curves, status reports, and other statistical reports, as required.
May interpret results and prepare material for presentation, publication, and/or grants.
May assist in the preparation of submissions to the Research Ethics Board.
May conduct literature searches.

Qualifications:

At minimum, a Bachelor's Degree in related field required;
A minimum of 1 year related experience;
Experience with patient recruitment and data collection; qualitative research experience including conducting interviews;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Office environment;
Detail oriented with excellent organization skills;
Ability to work independently and prioritize workload to meet deadlines;
Ability to work as part of an interprofessional team;
Comfortable with learning new systems quickly and efficiently;
Flexibility and willingness to learn;
Medical or scientific knowledge preferred.
