  • CapU's School of Legal Studies has been training legal professionals for over 40 years, and is an acknowledged leader in providing education services for paralegals and legal administrative assistants.

What you'll bring

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree + Bachelor of Law Degree (LL.B.) OR Juris Doctor degree (J.D.) (for substantive courses)


  • OR

  • Bachelor's Degree + Paralegal Diploma (for procedural courses)


  • OR

  • Bachelor of Legal Studies (Paralegal) Degree (for procedural courses)

Required Experience:


  • Minimum 5+ years' experience working in a legal setting
  • Comprehensive experience using legal software

Preferred:


  • Masters of Education (MEd)
  • Experience practicing law
  • Knowledge of Indigenous law | Indigenous lived experience
  • Comprehensive experience relating to legal procedures
  • Online teaching experience using web‐based education platforms
  • Post‐secondary or other teaching experience with the ability to engage students through a combination of theoretical content and applied teaching methods
