SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Warehouse & Facility Manager and/or Supervisor, the Warehouse Operator will perform all daily shipping & receiving warehouse tasks, which may include the decontamination of received pumps and scheduling of local deliveries.

As directed by the Warehouse & Facility Manager and/or Supervisor, the Warehouse Operator may also assist in training new Warehouse Operators and lead through various warehouse projects.


IN THIS ROLE, THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:

  • Receiving shipments of product and documenting as applicable on the receiving log.
  • Ensure the decontamination of all devices and accessories received.
  • Order Processing (order lookup & fulfillment).
  • Communicate with departments at other sites regarding work orders, customer requests and order/packing slip processing.
  • Shipping of orders (including picking, packing, shipping through Fed Ex / UPS or courier, and handling any customer Specific requests).
  • Completing USA bound shipments for approved commodities
  • Assist in Service project administration for InfuSystem-Canada
  • Schedule delivery of local orders & pickup of equipment returns as needed.
  • Participate in or support the Finished Goods Inspection process as requested by the Quality or Biomedical departments.
  • Participate in pump and supply inventory counts.
  • Scanning of travelers and other documents as required.
  • Filing of distribution records (travelers, packing slips, etc.).
  • Keep warehouse and common areas safe, clean and organized.
  • Support 5S activities.
  • Maintain a mindset of continuous improvement. Follow standard operating procedures.
  • Comply with the InfuSystem Quality System and participate in ISO compliance & audit activities as required.
  • Participate in InfuSystem-Canada safety committee, including WHMIS, first aid, and CPR
  • Provide our customers with exceptional customer service by following through with their requests and ensuring that pumps meet our quality standards before they are distributed
  • Relay any customer requests to Kansas as applicable
  • Respond to local delivery and pickup requests in a timely manner
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months' to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to analyze trends and deal with problems involving concrete variables.
  • Proficient with Microsoft products (excel, word and outlook)
  • Familiar with CRM tools and/or sales order entry processing systems
  • Demonstrate positive attitude
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Must be able to multitask
  • Able to collaborate with the team and contribute to the success of the Company.
