Position Summary:


The Finance Manager plays a crucial role as a "Business Partner" in developing and implementing product line objectives and strategies while ensuring effective control in financial management reporting systems.

This position is responsible for coordinating and preparing accurate monthly plant cost reports, forecasts, progress performance plans, budgets, capital, and other plant financial information.

The Finance Manager works to improve key business drivers, maximize results within the product line, and actively identifies and implements best practices.


Responsibilities:

Manage accounting and reporting functions, including financial analysis and identifying improvement areas.
Collaborate with the operational team to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
Provide timely and reliable financial information to senior management.
Ensure compliance with financial controls and company policies.
Acquire strong knowledge of the business.
Maintain consistency in accounting/statutory reporting and product line reporting.
Establish effective linkage of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with financial reporting.
Effectively flag business issues based on financial analyses.
Optimize processes and drive efficiency across the organization.
Oversee inventory management and reconcile balances.
Enhance the safety culture of the organization.

Qualifications:
Undergraduate Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
5+ years of financial management experience with increasing responsibility.
Professional accounting designation (CMA, CGA, CPA, or CA).
Operational and Shared Services Finance experience preferred.
Key user SAP/ERP experience is an asset.
Knowledge of financial systems and GAAP.


Salary:
$100,592.38-$110,000.00 per year
