Description
Pinnacle Builders Ltd. is a custom ready to move (RTM) home builder located in Martensville, Saskatchewan. We are presently seeking a full-time, experienced and customer-focused Architectural Draftsperson/Office Assistant to join our team.
The regular hours of work for this position are Mondays through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The successful applicant will be under the direct supervision of the Sales and Design Manager.
Duties will include:
- Preparing complete preliminary drawings in coordination with the Sales/Design Manager on custom designed RTM homes as well as site built homes.
- Producing complete and thorough construction drawings in accordance with local codes and bylaws.
- Collaborating with engineers and trades people on various projects.
- Completing draft details as per engineer's direction.
- Responding to, and rectifying design issues.
- Receiving customers, answering phones and directing customers accordingly.
- Setting up client portals and sharing login information with the client.
- Regularly updating the client portal with photos, and including the progress of the client's home.
- Updating the
Pinnacle Builders Ltd. website regularly and accurately, including photographing and uploading construction photos, updating house descriptions and other information as required. - Creating quality marketing materials and RTM brochures.
- Updating production files and maintaining corresponding task board.
- Light duty cleaning and tidying of the office building and houses as needed.
- Other assigned tasks related to this position.
- Applicant must be a graduate of an accredited architectural technology program.
- Must possess working knowledge of Revit and Softplan programs.
- Must be well versed in the National Building Code of Canada and 9.36 Energy Code.
- This position requires an understanding of building systems, including plumbing, mechanical and electrical.
- Preference for 25 years of relevant experience in the field.
- Exemplary attention to detail is also required.
- Must demonstrate strong organizational and task management abilities.
- Must have good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel programs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Must have the ability to take initiative, be proactive and show strength in problem resolution.
- Exhibiting a friendly and outgoing personality is a strong requirement for this position.
- Must exhibit a very high degree of confidentiality in all areas.
- Must be able to work with mínimal supervision.
