Description

Salius Rehab Elder Care division continues to grow and we are looking for an amazing Rehabilitation Assistant to join our team and work in residential care.

This is a position for 22.50 hours per week for a site in Langley, BC.

This is a unique opportunity where you will be able to

  • Work with seniors on more than exercises and falls prevention, you get to learn about them and build relationships
  • Work alongside talented therapists and enjoy the benefits of one on one mentorship with clinical practice leads who have 10+ years of professional experience

Key responsibilities include

  • Implements a rehabilitation program with the client as directed by the PT and/or OT
  • Promotes maximum independence of the client in the caresite
  • Basic equipment maintenance
  • Completing detailed paperwork to document the client's progress
  • Provide support to PT/OT
  • Complete other tasks as requested
  • Completes other tasks as requested

Education:


  • Completion of a recognized Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, and/or Rehabilitation Assistant College Program. Salius Rehab will also consider a university degree in Kinesiology.

  • Strong communication (oral and written) and presentation skills.
