As the Marketing Manager at Transat Distribution Canada (TDC), you will play a pivotal role in planning and executing the local and national marketing activities for brands such as Voyages Transat, Transat Travel, Club Voyages, Marlin Travel, Travel Plus, LuxeXperts, Groupes et Cie, as well as a network of travel agencies affiliated with TDC.

Reporting directly to the Senior Director - Marketing, Communications, and Events, you will lead a dynamic team consisting of three marketing specialists and a content specialist.

Your primary mission will be to significantly mark our presence in the travel agency market, support TDC member agencies in their marketing efforts, effectively engage our target audience, and drive sales growth.


  • Supervise and support the internal marketing team on a daily basis while ensuring project management according to timelines and communicating progress ;
  • Take charge of organizing and deploying an annual calendar for coop marketing activities in collaboration with preferred partners, ensuring they align with the company's brand objectives and strategies ;
  • Support the design and execution of a content strategy for various channels (blogs, social media, newsletters, etc.). Develop and manage a social media strategy that increases brand presence on social platforms and assist members in developing their content for their own channels ;
  • Plan and optimize, in collaboration with the performance marketing team, SEM campaigns to achieve marketing objectives. Responsible for managing campaign budgets, selecting keywords, creating impactful ads, and analyzing campaign performance to maximize return on investment ;
  • Manage the relationship with our strategic partner in the luxury travel market and ensure a consistent implementation of our marketing activities in this niche ;
  • Lead special projects aimed at supporting our members in their local marketing activities and identifying new opportunities to improve our market position ;
  • Direct the ongoing management and development of our gift card program, ensuring it aligns with the company's marketing objectives ;
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on the performance of marketing initiatives, providing analysis and recommendations to the Senior Director and other decisionmakers ;
  • Ensure sound budget management by conducting continuous monitoring and maintaining constant communication with the finance department.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of five years of experience in marketing, including at least two years in a team management role. This experience should demonstrate a capacity to successfully lead and motivate a team ;
  • Proven ability to develop and implement marketing strategies specifically tailored to services ;
  • Extensive experience in CRM program management, including understanding of customer data management tools to segment, target, and personalize communications ;
  • Advanced skills in digital marketing, including SEM, content marketing, and social media management. Demonstrated experience in planning, executing, and analyzing digital campaigns is essential, as is the ability to assess their effectiveness ;
  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, meet strict deadlines, and effectively manage a budget ;
  • Ability to analyze data and use these analyses to make relevant strategic recommendations ;
  • Fluency in French and English, both orally and in writing, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both languages.
