Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing excellent customer service and addressing inquiries related to insurance policies, claims, and coverage options.
- Assist clients in assessing their insurance needs, explaining policy options, and recommending appropriate coverage based on their requirements.
- Process policy changes, endorsements, and renewals accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with insurance underwriters and carriers to obtain quotes, bind coverage, and ensure accurate policy documentation.
- Maintain client records, update databases, and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Act as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers to facilitate claims processing, resolve issues, and ensure timely resolution.
- Handle policy cancellations, nonrenewals, and reinstatements in accordance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, changes in insurance products, and market conditions to provide informed advice to clients.
- Meet and exceed individual and team performance goals, including customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Previous experience in the insurance industry, specifically in a customer service role, is highly desirable.
- Active RIBO (Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario) license is a requirement of the job.
- Proficiency with SigXP insurance management system is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and build rapport.
- Excellent problemsolving abilities to address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Detailoriented with exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with insurance management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of insurance policies, coverage types, and regulations
