Qualifications
Knowledge of accounting practices
- Bookkeeping experience
- QuickBooks and/or Sage experience required
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Duties and responsibilities

Back-office services_
- Work with QuickBooks Online or Sage 50 to maintain an accurate record of financial transactions
- Recording of journal entries
- Account reconciliation to confirm the accuracy of transactions
- Prepare Year End financial reports for a company's accountant
- Process payroll, payroll tax remittance, prepare WCB, etc.
- GST/PST preparation and payment on time
- Maintain client relationships
Office Duties_
- Meet with clients (inperson, over the phone, or via Zoom), assess needs, offer the best option, and seamlessly manage the onboarding procedure
- Other office duties as required
Tax Preparation (while during tax season)_
- Work with personal income tax software
- Be in contact with CRA to assist clients and resolve their issues
- Basic Canadian tax knowledge

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time
Pay:
$19.00-$23.00 per hour
