Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Shop Foreman to join our reputable heavy-duty truck repair shop.Shop Foreman Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of technicians, ensuring efficient workflow and highquality repairs and maintenance
- Overseeing work to anticipate, detect, and address factors that impede operations
- Enforcing safety regulations and protocols
- Meeting with management to deliver feedback and develop work optimization strategies
- Implementing strategies to optimize workflow and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with other departments, such as parts and customer service, to ensure seamless operations
Shop Foreman Requirements:
- Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic License
- Extensive Experience in the heavyduty truck repair trade
- At least one year's experience as a shop foreman
- Good knowledge of the applicable safety regulations and procedures
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members
- Good time management and problemsolving skills
- A willingness to work long hours and overtime, if needed
Salary:
$23.58-$45.60 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
