**: Our prestigious commercial office building located in Old Montreal is seeking a full-time Building Maintenance Superintendent. The incumbent will be responsible for responding to customer inquiries across the building.


ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Ability to follow the work of the suppliers present (plumber, electrician, and air conditioning)
  • Be able to identify maintenance work and maintain a list of work by floor
  • Ensure property cleanliness standards are maintained
  • Inspect common and vacant areas of the building on a daily basis
  • Occasional travel for the purchase of equipment (car an asset)
  • Occasionally respond to emergency calls outside working hours
  • Perform various building maintenance and upkeep tasks
  • Respond to tenant requests and ensure excellent tenant service
  • Responsible for minor repairs and preventive maintenance of the building such as electrical repairs, painting, plumbing, HVAC maintenance

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:


  • 2 to 3 years of experience in the field
  • Good communication and impeccable customer service
  • Basic computer skills
