- Assist with testing new research technologies in wearable biomedical devices through various research studies.
- Validation and performance testing of system components through mechanical, electrical and software testing methodologies.
- Design, rapid prototyping, assembly, data collections, and analyses.
- Prepare and document standard testing procedures.
- Collaborate with a diverse cross-disciplinary team (mechanical, firmware, data science, software, textile) for system integration.
- Undergraduate degrees in Biomedical Engineering, System Design Engineering, or relevant fields.
- Experience or course-based exposure to biomedical instrumentation, biomedical/bioelectronic systems, and mechanical design principles.
- Experience in signal processing techniques. Experience with biosignal processing is a bonus.
- Programming languages, preferably Python and Matlab.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and leadership capabilities.
- Technical writing skills.
- Experience with several statistical methods for data analysis.
- Knowledge of biomedical wearable technology is a plus.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- The ability to collaborate seamlessly within a cross-disciplinary team environment
- Strong attention to detail
