Topa is looking for motivated Directional Drill Operator to join our team in the Saskatoon Area

Position Title:
Directional Drill Operator

Location:
Saskatoon Area

Start Date:
Immediate

Reporting to the Supervisor for generator cleaning, the labourer is responsible for providing physical labour support during all phases of the project.

The labourer provides a broad range of support which includes, but not limited to:

Operation of drilling and bore equipment for the installation of conduit
Loading and unloading of the directional boring equipment
Completing fiber drops once conduit is installed
Work independently or under minimum supervision
Meet physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 50 lbs)
Adhere to all of company's safety protocols
General housekeeping duties

Experience/Skills:

Minimum 6 months experience running directional drilling equipment
Knowledge of telecom and fiber optic installation
Safety FIRST Mentality
Ability to listen and take direction with positive, cando attitude
Valid Driver's license with a clean drivers record
Must possess basic English verbal/written
Able to work as part of a team, and individually when required
Attention to detail
