SGIC is hiring a Homestay Coordinator / marketer for our ESL Institute, St. George International CollegeThe job responsibilities include:
Homestay Coordinator
- Maintaining a relationship with existing homestay families.
- Updating and maintaining accurate homestay family profiles.
- Pairing students based on requests with appropriate families.
- Confirming with homestay families airport pickups/receptions.
- Confirming student arrivals.
- Preparing homestay payment information.
- Responsible for afterwork homestay emergency line, especially during arrival times in case of flight delays.
- Mediating between hosts and students when issues arise, providing counseling to students if necessary.
- Communicating with host families for student extension requests.
- Contact agents to provide information about school and homestay guidelines, request flight information, collect documents.
- Other administrative duties related to student services.
- Analyzing market and creating promotions.
- Counselling students, holding information sessions, resolving students' issues as necessary.
- Communicating with agencies overseas and local.
- Promoting the school through media, networking, and regular contact with agencies and partners.
- Taking part in education fairs and going on business trips as needed.
- Using online platforms to promote the school and engage with agencies and students.
- Creating marketing material for education fairs (as needed).
- Creating or translating for brochures and booklets in the respective language.
- Updating the agency list with new contacts and commission rates.
- Sending promotional material and other important memos to the agencies.
- Responding to student's requests through online registrations.
- Assisting with creating promotions and promotional material.
- Finding new local and international agencies to connect with.
- Updating current student information with agencies.
- Solving student complaints, issues, concerns, and questions.
- Regularly updating information; testimonials, new programs, new promotions.
- Assisting with arranging airport pickups and dropoffs.
- Running marketspecific orientations for new students on each orientation day.
- Checking the cancellation list and providing that information to the administration.
- Creating student folders with accurate information and updating the Main File.
- Coordinating any special needs with visiting agencies and agents.
- Commutating with other staff members regarding student changes.
- Other duties as assigned (ad hoc).
- Native or nativelikefluent proficiency in one of the following languages (Spanish, Arabic, Turkish, Russian, Korean, Slavic languages)
- Google docs and Microsoft Office suite.
- work with mínimal supervision,

- good time management skills,
- professionalism (demeanor, appearance, work ethic)

Salary:
$18.00-$20.00 per hour
