Job duties and responsibilities:
- Provide fast and thorough cleaning of all kitchen equipment and utensils, dishware, glassware and pots
- Maintain sanitized and tidy the kitchen area
- Assisting kitchen staff with food preparation, as needed
- Break down boxes, collecting recycling and garbage, sweeping and mopping floors
- Maintain department cleanliness
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with team members and other departments
Skills and qualifications:
- Passion for cooking and/or culinary training an asset
- Must work well in a fast paced environment
- Willingness and availability to work a variety of shifts, including: Mornings, Afternoons, Evenings & Weekends
- Ability to work in a safe and responsible manner
- Able to work independently or in a collaborative team environment
- Positive attitude, with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work on your feet for a full 8 hour shift
- Physically fit able to handle frequent lifting, bending and twisting with up to 25 kgs
- Attention to cleanliness
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Salary:
$16.00-$18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
Supplemental pay types:
