Your future duties and responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic partner, trusted HR advisor to assigned client groups, to help them design, develop and lead their team;
  • Provide advice in all key areas of HR in accordance with HR policies, services and program;
  • Ensure compliance with employment standards legislation and corporate policies to achieve operational
excellence;

  • Design and implement strategies to develop skills and maximize member performance;
  • Lead several human resources initiatives and projects at the business unit level and participate in national
HR initiatives;

  • Create tracking metrics and action plans and provide analysis of HR performance against key HR
indicators to business unit leaders;

  • Ensure the quality and effectiveness of the implementation of HR policies, programs, services and change
initiatives;

  • Promote a positive experience for members (employees) throughout the process and act as an ambassador for CGI.
  • Primary office location (12 days per week) is in Montreal, Quebec

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

  • Demonstrate influential leadership;
  • Demonstrate unfailing respect for confidentiality and a high level of professionalism;
  • Demonstrate great rigor in compliance with all laws and regulations related to employment standards;
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of organization and work planning;
  • Demonstrate a team spirit and collaboration.
  • Bachelor's degree in a field relevant to human resources management;
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a high performance and very dynamic environment;
  • Demonstrated skills in talent management and organizational development;
  • Experience in a consulting services environment (asset);
  • Demonstrated leadership and influencing abilities;
  • Negotiation and conflict management skills;
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written), in both French and English;
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and human resource systems and tools;
  • Professional title of CHRP (asset).
