**Bilingual Administrative Technician (Performance Office)**

**RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC**
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé (FRQS).

**Position summary**
Under the direction of the Research Grants and Data Management Division, the incumbent will be responsible for performing moderately complex duties involving data entry, verification, management and system management. He/she will send research information requests to investigators and archive information collected.

**General Duties**
- Register researcher's project funding in the database hosted by the "Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé". Communicate with other Quebec centres in case of collaborations.
- Administer the RI-MUHC Studentship and Fellowship competition;
- Determine researchers' scientific appointment eligibility, Transmit research appointment letters to researchers;
- Analyze and respond to investigator requests in order to update their research funding within funding databases;
- Analyze, validate and process investigator requests related to their productivity;
- Perform various data manipulation using various software;
- Coordinate researcher profile updates on various Rl systems;
- Coordinate system updates with IT division.

Education / Experience
- College degree (DEC), University certificate an asset;
- Good knowledge of French and English (spoken and written);
- Demonstrate a great sense of organization and interpersonal relationships;
- Intermediate level with the Microsoft Office (including MS Access) and fluency in the use and learning of software in general;
- Good verbal and written communications;
- High level of accuracy and efficiency;
- Ability to multi-task and work simultaneously on various projects while meeting objectives;
- Three (3) to five (5) years' experience in an academic, hospital or research environment.

Additional information
**Status** : Full-time (35-hour workweek)
**Pay Scale**: $39,548.60 to $59,332.00
**Work Shift**: from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. or from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Mondays to Fridays
**Work Site**: Downtown (2155 Guy St.)

Sous la direction de la Division de la gestion des subventions et de la performance institutionnelle, le titulaire sera responsable d'accomplir des fonctions à caractère modérément complexes reliées à la manipulation, la vérification et la gestion des données et des systèmes de données. II effectuera les demandes d'information de recherche auprès des chercheurs et archivera les informations reçues.

**Fonctions et attributions**
- Enregistre le financement des chercheurs dans la base de données des Fonds de recherche du Québec - Santé, en tenant compte des règles fournies. Communique avec les autres centres dans le cas de collaborations;
- Administre la compétition des bourses d'étudiants et stagiaires de l'IR-CUSM;
- Détermine l'éligibilité aux nominations scientifiques des chercheurs, Transmet les lettres de nominations de chercheurs;
- Analyse et répond aux demandes des chercheurs quant aux changements à apporter à la base de données du financement de recherche;
- Analyse, valide et traite les demandes de modifications relatives aux données de productivité des chercheurs;
- Effectue différentes manipulations de données utilisant divers logiciels;
- Coordonne la mise à jour des profils de chercheurs sur les différents systèmes de I'IR;
