Description
This is a cross dock and consolidation position. Primary duties include unloading trailers, sorting pallets, re-organizing 3rd party trailers, and loading trailers. This position is highly reliant on equipment use (primarily forklift) and does require comprehensive equipment experience. The position will work from
Monday to Friday, with flexibility to move to
Sunday to Thursday in the future
.
This position has high autonomy and works primarily independently to get the job done.

This means managing multiple in-bound trailers, dealing with customers on the dock, all while remaining detail orientated and processing paperwork.

This job is physical in nature and requires an individual who is good at working within tight time frames, has the ability to prioritize freight.


Responsibilities:


  • Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving freight.
  • Transporting skids to different locations within the warehouse.
  • Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Securing loads before transportation.
  • Operating and pretripping equipment.
  • Identifying workplace safety hazards.
  • Other warehouse duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in a cold/freezer environment is required.
  • Mid level of physical exertion is required.
  • Reliability and communication skills are required.
  • Warehouse or crossdock experience preferred.
