Lens & Frames Optical is searching for a part-time Optical Sales Associate to join our team.

This team member will work at our Cambridge location and will be scheduled to work throughout the week on select weekdays as well as Saturdays, with a possibility for occasional Sundays.

The Optical Sales Associate will be responsible for various retail and receptionist duties, including aiding customers in the frame selection process, booking eye examination appointments, and organizing the store.

Responsibilities Include

Educating patients on the various styles and designs of eyewear, ultimately aiding them in choosing the perfect frame(s) for their face shape, personality, and prescription
Communicating with patients about the various coatings available for eyewear and aiding them in selecting the best coatings for their lifestyle
Confidently knowing the deals and promotions offered at our store
Contributing to sales goals
Cleaning frames and surfaces after customer use
Booking eye examination appointments for patients
Faxing and scanning necessary papers
Sorting invoices and statements
Maintaining a fully stocked and organized showroom
Registering patients upon arrival to their eye exam appointment
Upholding excellent customer service, oral communication, and problem-solving skills while interacting with customers
Adhering to all company policies

Previous customer service experience
Desire to learn and advance one's skills
Passion for customer experience
Able to work well in a team - collaborative and willing to work with our Optician and Optometrist
Strong ability to multi-task while in a fast-paced environment
Good computer knowledge
Quick learner and self-motivated
Flexible with scheduling
Training will be provided for this position. Qualified applicants will be contacted for an interview.
