Our Account Managers play a key role in the Maxim family. They are often the first people our customers meet to discuss their whole goods needs. With customer service a priority, having a professional, friendly, and dedicated sales team is very important to us.

You will be aiding clients with rental and leasing needs, along with the sales of used trucks.


Responsibilities:


  • Process customer rental orders; Ensure unit availability, quoting rates, customer credit and insurance coverage, prepare contracts, follow check in & out procedures and answer inquires
  • Prospect new business through coldcalls, regular followups and building customer relationships
  • Manage lease account to ensure fleet availability meets customer needs meets customer needs
  • Prepares sales quotes that ensure profitable sale and customer satisfaction
  • Closes sales deals accurately using proper procedures
  • Addresses aftersales questions and concerns, and ensures unit is prepared for ontime delivery
  • Appraises tradeins by compiling history details, visual inspection, and discussions with customer
  • Preform daily yard check of units & communicate with other branches and departments
  • Complete administration as needed, including: updating vehicle registration, closing rental contracts, process monthend billing for long term rentals
  • Create damages estimates for customers

What you need to succeed in this role:

Qualifications
-
Education & Experience:_

  • 2+ years frontline customer service and sales experience
  • 1+ years in the truck & trailer (or related) industry
  • Background in sales and administration
  • Sales / Business administration courses an asset
  • Understanding of fleet maintenance practices an asset
  • Driver's Licence; Class 1 or 3 (D in Ontario) with air brakes an asset

  • Ability to work outdoors while conducting vehicle checks
