Job Description:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced instructor to join our engineering college in Toronto.

As a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Practitioner Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching courses related to health, wellness, and science within the TCM program.

Your primary role will be to deliver engaging lectures, facilitate hands-on practical sessions, and guide students in their learning journey.


Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver high-quality lectures and instructional materials in the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Plan and organize lessons to meet course objectives and ensure student engagement and understanding.

Conduct practical sessions and demonstrations to enhance students' hands-on skills in TCM techniques.


Provide guidance and support to students, both in the classroom and during office hours, to address their academic needs and concerns.

Assess student performance through examinations, projects, and assignments, and provide constructive feedback to facilitate their learning and growth.

Stay updated with the latest advancements in TCM and integrate relevant industry trends and research into the curriculum.

Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall program and contribute to curriculum development and improvement initiatives.

Participate in faculty meetings, professional development activities, and college events as required.


Requirements:


A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine or a related field is required; a master's degree is preferred.

Certification as a Registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner is essential.

Proven teaching experience in higher education or professional settings, preferably in TCM or related disciplines.

Strong knowledge of TCM theories, practices, and techniques, with expertise in health, wellness, and science.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to students of varying backgrounds.

Passion for teaching and mentoring students, along with a student-centered approach to education.

Familiarity with instructional technology and the ability to integrate technology tools to enhance teaching and learning.

Continuous learning mindset and commitment to professional development in the field of TCM.
