We are looking for top-notch _bicycle tour_ guides who can provide our guests with exceptional and unforgettable experiences while they visit Vancouver.
Cycle City Tours offers memorable bike rides for small groups with quality equipment, while sharing deep insight into the past, present, and future of the city.
Our guests visit from around the globe either as independent travellers or as part of larger group or corporate tours.
You'll get to show them the Vancouver we love and create amazing memories with them. Tour Guide Details:
- This position begins with part time paid training which involves a combination of in store training, selfstudy, and most importantly, tour shadowing.
- Shifts are typically between 8 hours.
- Our season is May/June to August/September
- We are looking to fill positions ranging from 35 shifts per week (minimum 3 per week)

- Competitive base salary ($20/hour) with opportunity to make substantial tips. Total compensation for trained guides usually averages between $25 $40 per hour after tips and performance bonuses.

- Do you speak any languages fluently besides English
- Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- Minimum Requirements:
- Passion for Vancouver, cycling, and storytelling; excellent communication skills
- Fluency in English (French, Spanish, German, Dutch and other languages are a great asset)
- Emergency first aid certification (can obtain or recertify after hiring)
- Responsible, punctual and dependable nature
- Flexible schedule with availability from April through September (minimum May through end of August)
- Legally able to work in Canada
- Able to perform basic bike maintenance and repairs on bikes as needed
- Physical fitness and ability to lead tours for extended periods of time
- Salary/Wage: $20~$40/hour after training
