Interested in helping students achieve academic success? If so, consider a tutor position with Sylvan Learning Centre in
St. Albert.

Sylvan is recruiting individuals who can teach Sylvan prescribed programs in math, reading, and writing, and individuals who can tutor high school math and science.

Tutors work with students in a 3:1 setting in centre, providing individualized instruction to each student. Tutoring is offered to students 4-8 pm on weekdays and daytime hours on Saturday.

Applicants with a B.Ed.

degree are preferred, and applicants are accepted who have a degree or who are in the 3rd or 4th year of a degree program.

The person who best qualifies has a positive attitude, works well with students of all ages, and is an effective motivator.


Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 8-20 per week


Salary:
$16.00-$18.00 per hour

Education:


  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Experience:
