What you bring to the role
Education
Experience
Industry acumen and experience is required, demonstrated ability to teach a number of courses offered by the college, along with specialized skills in the following areas
Skills
- Proven experience in one of the following, author, screenwriter, video game writer, radio/podcast producer, or in a similar storytelling capacity.
- A track record of successfully captivating audiences and engaging them through storytelling.
- Demonstrated success in teaching.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively breakdown the skill and craft behind narratives and storytelling concepts for others.
- Creativity and the ability to think outside the box to craft compelling and immersive stories.
Complimentary Skills
- Experience adapting stories from one medium to another.
- Experience and success in more than one medium is a plus.
- Experience producing content in the medium you are knowledgeable, developing, raising capital, executing the vision, and delivering to your audience is a major asset, but not necessary.
